Claudia Dorney

Communications Coordinator

Claudia is an enthusiastic Communications Coordinator who joined the strategy at the beginning of 2023. After graduating from a Bachelor of Media and Communications majoring in Journalism at La Trobe University in 2021, Claudia has honed her talent for engaging content creation and strategic promotion.

Claudia has a longstanding history at The Royal Children's Hospital and has worked in various roles since 2018, including the RCH Staff Mental Health Strategy. This context of the organisation and its staff has become an extremely valuable asset. It's also what drives her to make a meaningful impact across the campus. 

Another motivator for Claudia is her lived experience with mental health diagnoses and treatment. Because of this, she strives to communicate with empathy, build understanding, and break down stigma associated with mental health topics.
