Maddie Cranney
Trauma Informed Preventative Care Research Assistant
Maddie (she/her) is a passionate research assistant for our Trauma-Informed Preventative Care program. With a psychology background and a perspective shaped by clinical insight and systems thinking, she has a breadth of experience working in the public mental health system, schools, government and not-for-profit organisations.
Maddie's work is grounded in compassion, innovation, and motivation for continuous learning. She's particularly interested in the impact of adverse childhood experiences, trauma, and preventative interventions.
Alongside her role with TIPC, she works within Austin Health’s Infant, Child and Youth Mental Health Service (ICYMHS) clinical specialist team, providing research and evaluation support.
