Call for feedback on new CPG for suicide and NSSI
14/10/2025
We are in the final stages of developing the 'Suicide and Non-suicidal Self-injury in Children and Adolescents: Evidence-based Clinical Practice Guideline'.
You can now give your feedback on the drafted version of the recommendations, which is available for public consultation until Friday 14 November.
The guideline has been developed using a recognised framework for evidence-based clinical guidelines that integrates the available evidence, clinical expertise, and lived experience perspectives.
An important part of this process is public consultation, allowing professionals, organisations, and consumers to provide their thoughts to ensure the guideline is accurate and relevant in a real-world clinical context.
This evidence-based clinical practice guideline is intended for a broad range of professionals who support or care for children and adolescents, including both health and non-health professionals.
We welcome any feedback about specific recommendations or general comments from people who may use or be affected by this guideline, including those with lived or living experience.
A draft of the Suicide and Non-suicidal Self-injury in Children and Adolescents: Evidence-based Clinical Practice Guideline can be viewed or downloaded here.
Feedback can be submitted by 5pm on Friday 14 November, using the online form.
If you have any questions, please email [email protected].
