We have developed and piloted a Trauma-Informed Preventative Care (TIPC) Foundational eLearn!
The eLearn is available to all RCH staff on Learning HERO.
Our eLearn aims to increase your understanding of trauma, and the prevalence and impact it can have on children, young people, families, and staff.
The eLearn covers:
- psychological trauma, its prevalence, and impact
- paediatric medical traumatic stress and how we can recognise and respond to signs of overwhelm
- how staff's personal experience of trauma and exposure to secondary trauma can impact wellbeing
