Consistent Quality Care (CQC)

Every child, young person, and their family deserve the right mental health care and support when and where they need it. That’s why we’re creating practical resources to guide clinicians and families through some of the most common childhood mental health challenges.

Consistent Quality Care (CQC) ensures children, young people, and their families experience consistent mental health care that is evidence-based, inclusive, and makes a difference at every encounter with campus staff.

We are working with lived experience advisors, clinicians, and mental health experts to develop tools and resources on common mental health disorders like anxiety.

These resources include:

  • evidence-based clinical practice guidelines
  • need-based care and referral pathways, including sub-sections for groups with increased vulnerabilities
  • a measurement-based mental health care framework embedded into routine care

Examples of our CQC work

We have developed our Evidence-based Clinical Practice Guideline for Anxiety in Children and Young People along with several other clinician-facing resources.

Our family-facing guide for anxiety helps parents, carers, and supporters get the tools and information they need when navigating care for their child.

Our Medically Unexplained Symptoms project is designing and developing educational tools and resources for clinicians and families.
